INDIAN SANDALWOOD SURPRISE

APRIL 2020


A very interesting find.

While conducting a Western Australian Sandalwood plantation assessment in the Geograph region of Western Australia we noticed this single tree growing nearby. It’s actually Indian Sandalwood... growing vigorously in the deep sands, no irrigation and very few host trees nearby. We estimated it to be around 15 years old. Makes you wonder about the possibilities.
