NORTHERN SANDALWOOD

JULY 2018

During a recent field study in northern Australia, GP Forestry located a number of healthy populations of Northern Sandalwood (Santalum lanceolatum).

The heartwood from this native species of sandalwood is less aromatic than Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album) and its southern cousin in Western Australian Sandalwood (Santalum spicatum).

This specimen was located in the Northern Territory.
