PURNULULU NATIONAL PARK

JULY 2018

A recent visit to the stunning Purnululu National Park in Western Australia revealed some very interesting information.

The massive 360 million year old sandstone formation is harbouring remnant plants of a long disappeared widespread tropical rainforest.

The most obvious being Livistona Palms (Livistona victoriae) nestled in the gorges.
